Position: Purchasing Officer
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute procurement activities for restaurant.
- Source, negotiate, and purchase high-quality products and materials required for restaurant operations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to understand their needs and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably in the hospitality or food industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proven negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently as well as part of a team.
