Job Overview
The Data Analyst will support RTV in collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting high-quality data to guide strategic decision-making, optimize program performance, and track impact. Working within the VENN department—the organization’s data and technology backbone—you will collaborate with Program, MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Applied Learning), and Product Development teams to build robust analytics workflows, support impact evaluation, and transform complex datasets into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights: Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover trends, identify key drivers of performance, synthesize evidence, and translate findings into clear recommendations.

Impact Evaluation & Research: Assist in designing evaluation methodologies, sampling strategies, and analytical frameworks to measure program outcomes and track poverty alleviation impact.

Dashboards & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to turn raw data into compelling visualization products for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tool Development & Survey Design: Help design data collection instruments, performance measurement tools, data management guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Data Quality Assurance & Governance: Manage end-to-end data lifecycles—including data cleaning, validation, storage, and QA protocols—to ensure data integrity, reliability, and governance compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline. A postgraduate qualification in M&E, Statistics, or Project Management is an added advantage. Data Analyst Job Opportunity at Raising The Village

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, data management, M&E, or research.

Technical Software Skills: Proficiency in programming and analytical tools such as R, Python, STATA, or Advanced MS Excel.

Visualization Tools: Demonstrated experience using Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or R Shiny.
