Job Position: Data Administrator

Purpose of the position:
Data administrator is responsible to organize and collate all Information and will be reporting to the Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme Manager.
Key Result Areas and accountabilities:
- Create and operate CSR data processing program.
- Organize and collate all existing and future CSR data, including Forests for Prosperity (FP),
- Biodiversity, Land, Complaints & Near Misses.
- Be the custodian of recording all survey and valuation reports and send them to the right people.
- Compile different reports from CSR team and submit them to CSR Manager
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly out-growers woodlot post-mapping data is captured correctly on Micro- Forest.
- Prepare Supplier Invoices for line managers’ authorization.
- Liaise with procurement department to ensure departmental requisitions are prepared accurately and submitted for relevant authorizations.
- Answer and direct telephone calls for Teams.
- Communicate with customers, employees, and others to answer questions, address complaints, explain information, and take orders.
- Operate office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone and voicemail systems, and computers.
- Maintain updated systems for filing, inventory, mailing, and databases.
- Handle incoming and outgoing office correspondence.
- Compile and maintain records of CSR activities and business transactions.
- Prepare meeting agendas; attend meetings to take notes and write minutes.
- Obtain information to respond to requests by reviewing files, documents, and records
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies required to perform this role:
- Proficient in the use of computers, Micro- Forest, database software, document management software, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read maps, understand boundaries, surveys, and enumerations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English, and Kiswahili
- Proven ability to produce reports and project plans.
- Proven ability to understand and translate the needs and concerns of the community clearly for all stakeholders.
- Good administrative capabilities to manage paperwork and follow up on processes with all levels of contact persons in CSR department, NFC departments and district/government.
- High levels of integrity and reliability to act as a custodian for NFC.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degrees in forestry/Community Development/Environmental Studies.
- Ability to drive manual cars, with valid driving license class D is an added advantage.
- Years of experience
- At Least 3 years in Forestry industry, community development projects
