About the Role

CVPeople Tanzania is seeking an experienced and certified Finance and Administration Manager to provide strategic leadership across financial planning, administrative systems, procurement, and compliance. The position will play a key role in safeguarding organizational assets, managing donor funds, maintaining robust risk management protocols, and guiding long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight & Reporting: Manage annual budgets, cash flows, payroll, and IFRS-compliant reporting for executive leadership, donors, and statutory bodies.

• Administrative & Operations Management: Direct procurement workflows, asset management, insurance policies, logistics, and administrative team performance.

• Audit, Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain internal control systems, conduct financial risk assessments, oversee statutory tax filings, and manage donor compliance and audit processes.

• Strategic Advisory: Advise the Executive Director on organizational sustainability, resource allocation, and financial risk mitigation.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).

• Active CPA (T) or ACCA professional accounting qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance & administration, including 3+ years in managerial positions.

• Proven experience in NGO or donor-funded project environments; deep familiarity with Tanzanian tax, labor, and donor regulations.
