Job Title: Customer Relations & Receptionist
Location: Olerai Lodge, Kisongo, Arusha
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
Olerai Lodge is looking for a Customer Relations & Receptionist to oversee front desk operations and ensure an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling reservations, managing inquiries, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle reservations, bookings, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, payments, and reservations.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Promote lodge services, activities, and experiences to guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Handle administrative duties, including emails, reports, and guest feedback collection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in reservation and booking software.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns gracefully.
- Basic accounting and cash-handling skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
