IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

NOTE: This position is strictly for applicants who are currently living in Morogoro.

Applicants must be residents of Morogoro and should have a good understanding of the local market, businesses, employees and surrounding areas.

Applications from candidates who are not currently residing in Morogoro will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mobilize and recruit quality loan clients. 
• Receive, assess and process loan applications. 
• Conduct client interviews, field visits and verification. 
• Assess clients’ creditworthiness and repayment capacity. 
• Prepare credit appraisal reports and recommendations. 
• Monitor loan portfolios and follow up overdue payments. 
• Conduct customer visits and collection activities. 
• Maintain accurate loan and client records. 
• Support achievement of branch growth and collection targets. 
• Ensure compliance with Tatamwise credit policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Microfinance or a related field. 
•  Previous experience in microfinance, SACCOs, lending or credit operations will be an added advantage. 
•  Strong skills in credit assessment, customer relationship management and loan collection. 
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work independently and meet targets. 
• Must be willing to conduct regular fieldwork.

We need someone who is honest, disciplined, proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to build a quality loan portfolio not simply disburse loans.
