Job Description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

The Course Facilitator in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plays a pivotal role in delivering training programs related to M&E concepts, methodologies, and best practices. They are responsible for creating an effective learning environment, guiding participants through the intricacies of M&E, and equipping them with the skills needed to design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems.

We are looking for experienced course facilitators to provide live online through weekly zoom classes in the following subjects:

  • Strategy
  • Systems
  • Evidence Based Reporting
  • Project management
  • Contract duration: 4-8 weeks

Contract start date: Please state the 4- 8week block/s you are available to deliver the

course/s you are applying to facilitate for (within the timeframe of 18th October – 18th December 2023)

Level of effort: Up to 3 hours a week

Total level of effort: up to 8 weeks

The consultant will report weekly. Kindly share your profile detailing your experience in the subject matter

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in M&E, including the design and implementation of M&E systems.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, methodologies, data collection techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
