Corporate Communications Specialist (1 Position)

Job Location :Head Office

Job Purpose:

Craft and execute communication campaigns that enhance brand position, reputation and contribute towards customer acquisition. Leveraging expertise across various communication channels and strengthening the bank’s online presence and effectively promote the bank’s comprehensive suite of financial solutions to a multitude of audiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Content creation and editing – Develop and edit content for various channels, including fact sheets, pitch books, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and internal communications.
  • Communication Campaign Management – Plan and execute comprehensive campaigns across diverse platforms, including website, email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC advertising, and display advertising.
  • Digital Channel management – Conceptualize, create, and disseminate engaging content across digital channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice and driving customer engagement.
  • Website Optimization and User Experience – Oversee and enhance the banks website and landing pages for an intuitive user experience, compelling content, and improved conversion rates.
  • Partnership and Collaboration – Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, content creators and collaborators to extend brand reach, engage target audiences, and encourage brand advocacy.
  • Internal Communication – Develop and implement internal communication plans to keep employees informed about company news, initiatives, goals, and lead internal events such as town halls for transparent communication within the organization.
  • Market Research and Analysis – Conduct research to identify target audiences, analyze market trends, and assess competitor strategies to refine and optimize communication campaigns.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis – Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, tracking website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates. Provide reports with actionable insights for improvement.
  • Crisis Management – Monitor online coverage and provide timely and accurate responses to any negative or crisis situations.
  • Budget Management – Efficiently manage communications budgets, allocate resources, and track spending for maximum ROI.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, including data privacy and security measures, in all digital communication activities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Profound knowledge of digital communication concepts, tools, and best practices, encompassing SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and web analytics.
  • Expertise in utilizing digital platforms, including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, social media management tools, and marketing automation software.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics, driving actionable insights and decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft engaging and persuasive content across various channels.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a dedicated focus on delivering impactful communication campaigns.
  • Project management skills, including the capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with proven track record in a marketing and communications role.
