We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team for a Hydropower Project. This role will play a key part in the execution and successful delivery of civil works associated with hydropower and dam construction.

Job Brief:

As a Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all civil works on the hydropower project. Your duties will include ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timely completion. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with substantial experience in Dam and Hydropower Construction.

Role and Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of civil works on a hydropower construction site.
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications, including progress monitoring.
Manage documentation including construction records, daily reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
Monitor and support deep excavation and heavy foundation works.
Oversee heavy-duty concrete placement, reinforcement and structural steel erection, and diversion works.
Ensure the proper execution of surge tank, penstock upstream sections, and concrete gravity dam construction.
Coordinate project activities, providing solutions to challenges that may arise during construction.

Required Competencies:

Experience in hydropower infrastructure construction, including surge tanks, penstock upstream sections, and concrete gravity dams.
Knowledge of run-of-the-river hydropower plants.
Experience in deep excavation and heavy foundation works.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software (preferred).
Experience in heavy-duty concrete placement and structural steel (reinforcement and embedded parts) erection.

Qualifications:

A BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in dam and hydropower project construction.
Familiarity with hydropower plant infrastructure, especially run-of-the-river plants.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently under pressure.
