About the Company
Eliot Company Ltd, trading as Active Mama Products, is a processing company specializing in baby-care, family-care, and wellness products. we are seeking a highly strategic and disciplined Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team.
Role Purpose
The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen governance and controls, optimize capital structure, and support the company’s growth, investments, and regional expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership
- Lead the company’s financial strategy aligned with 3–5 , 5-10year growth plans
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors
- Support institutionalization, governance, and board reporting
Financial Management
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Manage working capital, overdraft facilities, and debt strategy
- Supervise accounting, audits, and statutory compliance
Investment & Capital Management
- Implement and monitor the Investment Policy & Decision Matrix
- Support capital allocation, ROI analysis, and funding decisions
Controls, Risk & Compliance
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and financial systems
- Ensure compliance with TRA, TBS, and others
- Lead ERP/financial systems
Banking & External Relations
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, fund managers, and advisors
- Negotiate financing terms, credit lines, and interest rates
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent)
- Experience in manufacturing / FMCG is a strong advantage
Preferred:
- Experience working with Boards and senior leadership
- Strong knowledge of investments, treasury, and capital structure
- Exposure to ERP systems and institutional reporting
- Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline
