Career Opportunities: Tutors at TIPS College (Tegeta, Dar es Salaam)

TIPS College, located at Tegeta – Kibaoni, Dar es Salaam, is looking for qualified and motivated individuals to join our academic team. We are currently recruiting for two teaching positions to help us achieve our mission of excellence in vocational training.

Open Positions & Qualifications

1. Early Childhood Education Tutor

• Education: Ordinary Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent qualification).

• Focus: Training NVA students in foundational education techniques.

2. Clearing & Freight Forwarding Tutor

• Education: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping & Port Logistics Management (or an equivalent qualification).

• Focus: Preparing students for the logistics and maritime industry.

Important Note: Applicants must reside near Tegeta or the surrounding areas for ease of accessibility to the college.

Core Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be expected to:

1. Instruction: Teach and mentor NVA students according to the curriculum.

2. Practical Training: Actively assist in finding and coordinating practical training/internship placements for students.

3. Assessment: Prepare, administer, and mark examinations within the required timelines.

4. Collaboration: Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support college operations.
