Call for Applications: Sponsored Fabrication & Welding Training

BioBuu is sponsoring four motivated welders for intensive training at the East Africa Institute of Welding (EAIW) in Kenya. Graduates will return to support BioBuu’s operations.

What you’ll learn –

Hands-on training across key processes:

  • SMAW (Stick) – heavy repairs, field work
  • GMAW (MIG) – workshop fabrication (frames, housings)
  • GTAW (TIG) – precision/stainless work
  • FCAW – high-deposition structural joints

Who should apply

  • Early-career engineers, welders or fabricators with strong potential (1/2 years exp) •
  • Comfortable reading measurements/drawings; basic math & tools competence
  • Safety-first mindset, reliable, and physically fit for workshop/field work
  • Able to travel for training (passport/ID ready or obtainable)
  • Language: basic English an advantage

What we provide

  • Tuition sponsorship (training fees covered)
  • Travel & accommodation allowance
  • Post-training employment at BioBuu (Tanzania), subject to performance

Commitment: Selected trainees agree to complete the program and, upon successful graduation, work with BioBuu for a defined period.
