CALIBRATION ENGINEER

INDUSTRY- OIL AND GAS

HR WORLD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a *Certified Calibration Engineer* who will be responsible to carry out all inspections, calibrations, and repairs on highly specialized equipment as well as identifying faulty equipment and suggesting upgrades when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Traveling to clients for equipment inspections.
• Performing routine equipment maintenance.
• Calibrating equipment to industry standards.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Conducting equipment repairs.
• Responding to client queries.
• Suggest equipment upgrades.
• Maintaining calibration equipment and supplies.
• Completing job cards and equipment reports
• Any other duty assigned by Manager/ supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Relevant industry certification.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a calibration technician.
• Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Competency with calibration software
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent report-writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to use a wide range of tools and instruments.
