The Guardian Ltd, a leading newspaper company in Tanzania, is seeking Assistant Sales Representatives in Tanga, Mbeya, and Arusha. Key Responsibilities

Drive newspaper sales, subscriptions, and e-paper growth in the assigned region.
Identify and acquire new advertising clients for both print and digital platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, agents, and corporate clients.
Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and industry trends.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate sales records.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement sales and promotional strategies.
Provide regular sales reports, performance updates, and recommendations.

Qualifications and Competencies

Must be a resident of Mbeya, Iringa, Morogoro, Tanga, or Mwanza.
Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales and marketing. Experience in the newspaper or media industry is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital sales tools.
Familiarity with the local market in the assigned region is an added advantage.
