ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

An assistant Accountant supports in completing basic bookkeeping, clerical and accounting tasks for a  company.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Maintain Company’s ledger and daily financial transactions
2. Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
3. Validating payments and deposits made via the company account, ensuring coordination with the bank.
4. 4. Conducting reconciliation of invoices to identify any discrepancies
5. Identifying and resolving any discrepancies found in ledgers and accounts, tracing them back to their source
6. Maintaining a systematic document filing system for efficient record-keeping

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The ideal candidate for this role should have 

• Education requirement; Only Diploma in Accounting.
• At least an experience of 1 year.
• Familiarity with relevant software programs such as MS Excel
