Utrack Africa Limited is a dynamic leader in distributing GPS fleet management products and services. We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivables Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations by processing and monitoring incoming payments and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts among other responsibilities.

The candidate should be detail-oriented and have an excellent knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks and Tally.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• The candidate should Identify customers with back-due accounts and notify them by email or telephone.
• The candidate should have Negotiation skills. Negotiate payment plans, maintaining debtors’ accounts and collection period.
• Customer care skills. Contact customers and remind them about their payments politely.
• The candidate should Contact clients with overdue payments.
• The candidate should send final notice and make direct contact with customers who fail to make payments.
• Making daily follow-ups of cheque collections from customers and delivery of invoices to clients.
• The candidate should coordinate with other departments in order to solve clients effectively.
• Regularly reconciliation of clients’ accounts.
• Daily, Weekly and monthly preparations of collections.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum Experience of 2 years

Education:

Degree in Accountant and Finance Management or equivalent.
