Position Summary:
Serengeti Care is seeking a qualified and dedicated Accountant Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
- Support internal audits and financial controls
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
