POSITION: ACCOUNTANT (1 POST)

LOCATION: Arusha Tanzania

JOB SUMMARY.

Preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Maintaining accurate and update records of financial transactions.
• Recording, classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principal and financial reporting standards.
• Advising and assisting management in the compilation and control of company budget.
• Advising on improvement of financial management system and internal control system.
• Analyzing, vouching and verifying all retirements from the general staff Members and post to the system.
• Record keeping and arrangements for bookkeeping.
• Assist on preparing and filling statutory returns.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
• Other duties may assign by supervisor

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting or its equivalent.
• Must have CPA Qualification 
• 1-3 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
•  Knowledge of Tax laws and regulations.
• Knowledge in Computer System and Applications, mainly Quick book.
