Vacancies & Qualifications

• Nursing Officer II (3 Positions)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized college. Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Tanzania with a valid practice license.

  • Salary Scale: TGHS C

• Physiotherapist II (1 Position)

  • Qualification: Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.

  • Salary Scale: TGHS B

Key Responsibilities

• Nursing Officer II:

  • Administer patient care, enforce treatment manuals, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly patient progress reports.

  • Conduct health education for patients and families, and visit home-bound patients to provide primary healthcare advice.

  • Teach nursing students, supervise ward staff, and maintain high ethical standards.

  • Use the hospital information system, monitor consumables usage to prevent wastage, manage inventory, and verify billing details.

• Physiotherapist II:

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under senior supervision and conduct outreach services.

  • Educate patients on disability prevention and ensure proper upkeep of departmental equipment.

  • Keep and maintain accurate patient treatment records.

• Age Limit: Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged 45 years or below (unless currently in public service).
