We are looking for dynamic and energetic interns who are eager to learn about our company by assisting the digital underwriting and marketing departments. You will be working closely with our teams.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.

Digital Underwriting interns (2 Positions):

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Actuarial Science or Commerce).
Must be a third or Fourth year student awaiting graduation.
Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of insurance products.

SLA management with the support functions (finance, IT, operations).
Data collection and analysis.
Review proposal form and release policy documents/credit notes to clients.
Keep detailed and accurate records of policies underwritten and decisions made.

Requirements

A citizen of Kenya.
A student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field in an accredited university, who will continue his/her graduate studies or graduate right after the period of the internship.
Candidates afforded internship in the past are not eligible to apply.

Conditions of Internship

Britam does not provide medical insurance cover for Interns.
Those selected for internship will be required to submit proof of medical insurance while at Britam.
Since the hiring for the Internship Program is done locally, Britam does not pay transportation costs whatsoever.
This internship Program is addressed to students who are pursuing their degree programs.

Documentation that will be required should you be selected for internship are:

Letter from learning institution requesting for internship and confirming that this is part of the course requirement.

Original and copy of KCSE/GCSE Certificate.

Valid Insurance cover.

An updated CV

Copy of National ID.
