Job Overview
G4S Security Tanzania, a leading global provider of integrated security and risk management solutions, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to oversee its financial operations. Based at the Head Office in Dar es Salaam and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will drive financial planning, budget oversight, accounting control, regulatory compliance, and risk management across the country business unit.

Key Responsibilities
-
Financial Planning & Forecasting: Formulate the annual regional budget, monitor operational expenditure against approved guidelines, and prepare accurate monthly financial forecasts to drive strategic decisions.

Accounting & Financial Control: Oversee decentralized ERP transaction processing, evaluate monthly management accounts, highlight variance analysis, and implement effective cost-saving strategies.

Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow: Direct the regional Accounts Receivable and credit control functions to optimize cash collection and maximize corporate liquidity.

Risk, Legal & Compliance: Coordinate corporate litigation, insurance claims, tax compliance, and statutory reporting in full accordance with Tanzanian company and tax laws.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance department, conduct performance evaluations, and drive career development and succession planning.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Participate actively in regional health and safety forums, enforce compliance with workplace safety standards, and oversee incident reporting protocols.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or a related field (Postgraduate degree is highly advantageous).

Professional Certification: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA-T, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent recognized professional accounting qualification).

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience overseeing finance and accounting operations within a medium-to-large organization.

Regulatory Knowledge: Sound knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws, statutory compliance, and corporate financial legislation (experience or familiarity with security industry regulations is an added advantage).
