Job Purpose
The Relationship Officer – Biashara+ (MSME) is responsible for driving the growth of the bank’s MSME portfolio. This role focuses on new customer acquisition, mobilizing deposits, identifying lending opportunities, and cross-selling tailored banking solutions to support MSME business expansion.
Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Growth: Proactively recruit and onboard new MSME clients, expanding the bank’s Biashara+ customer base.

Deposit Mobilization: Drive deposit collection initiatives to achieve set liability targets for the MSME segment.

Lending & Portfolio Management: Identify quality credit and lending opportunities, cross-sell relevant banking products, and manage overall portfolio health.

Relationship Management: Conduct regular site and client visits to build lasting partnerships and provide tailored financial advisory services.

Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in banking sales, MSME relationship management, or business development.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of MSME banking products, deposit acquisition strategies, and credit assessment fundamentals.
