Position Summary

• Job Title: Direct Sales Agent

• Number of Vacancies: 52

• Locations: 2 positions in each of the 26 offices across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar (Zanzibar, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Manyara, Dodoma, Singida, Tabora, Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, Songwe, Ruvuma, Njombe, Rukwa, Katavi, Kigoma, Mwanza, Geita, Kagera, Shinyanga, Simiyu, Mara, Pwani, Lindi, and Mtwara).

• Job Summary: Participate in the promotion and sales of NIC General and Life Insurance products through proactive sales techniques while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients through networking, marketing campaigns, and direct outreach.

• Sales Campaigns: Participate in sales activations and campaigns to meet specific targets.

• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention, renewals, cross-selling, and up-selling opportunities.

• Product Promotion: Promote both Life and General Insurance products.

• Target Achievement & Reporting: Achieve assigned sales targets, provide regular sales reports, and work towards individual and team goals aligned with company strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

Category 1: Non-Degree Qualifications (37 Positions)

Applicants must possess an O-Level / A-Level Certificate, Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma from a recognized institution in any of the following fields:

• Business Administration

• Marketing / Sales and Marketing

• Insurance

• Actuarial Science

• Risk Management

• (Or other related fields)

Category 2: Degree Qualifications (15 Positions)

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields:

• Business Administration

• Marketing / Sales and Marketing

• Insurance

• Actuarial Science

• Risk Management

• (Or other related fields)

Added Advantage: Prior experience in sales and marketing of insurance products.
