WEST SECURITY SERVICES LTD is looking for an experienced and disciplined Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our company’s fiscal health. We are seeking a mature professional who can bring stability and expertise to our finance department.

Job Overview

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience

• Age Requirement: Above 35 years

• Location: Dar es Salaam

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Tanzanian accounting standards.

• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax.

• Payroll Management: Process employee salaries and ensure all deductions and benefits are correctly calculated.

• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits to maintain transparency.

• Budgeting & Analysis: Monitor company expenditures against budgets and provide reports on financial variances to management.

• Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage billing for clients and ensure all vendor payments are processed efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA-T or equivalent is a plus).

• Professionalism: A mature candidate (aged 35+) with strong leadership qualities and ethical conduct.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Communication: Fluent in both Swahili and English.
