Position: Plumber Fitter

Reports to: Technical Department
Position Type: Staff Position
Job Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Objective of the Role:

To perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and related mechanical infrastructure to support safe and efficient farm operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain pumps, valves, boilers, compressors, and sprinkler systems.
• Maintain service and repair records.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and maintenance breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate or Diploma qualification in Plumbing/Pipe Fitting.
• Not less than 4 years of practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, valves, pumps, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or large-scale facility maintenance is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding technical work safely.
• Able to communicate proficiently in English and Kiswahili.
