Role Overview

Canda Investment Company Limited is seeking a results-driven and technically savvy Salesman to join our hardware division. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring our customers receive the right tools and materials for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Drive revenue by proactively reaching out to contractors, developers, and walk-in customers to sell hardware products and building materials.

  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert advice on product specifications, applications, and compatibility to ensure customers make informed purchasing decisions.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and new hardware technologies to keep Canda Investment competitive.

  • Inventory & Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to clients.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and customer feedback using our internal reporting systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales role.

    • Specific experience in Hardware Sales (e.g., construction materials, tools, plumbing, or electrical supplies) is highly preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and “closing” skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Proficiency in basic office software (Excel, POS systems).

    • Ability to work independently and meet ambitious sales targets.

  • Attributes: High integrity, a self-starter attitude, and a genuine passion for the hardware and construction industry.
