Job Purpose:
The purpose of a Senior Sales Engineer is to drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive sales growth in the Building & Construction sector through active engagement with contractors, developers, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify opportunities and follow up on ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across construction projects nationwide.
- Prepare commercial offers and support technical coordination in line with project requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming developments within the construction sector.
- Achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring adherence to company pricing and commercial policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely supply, project execution, and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Lead the end-to-end bid and tender processes, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Support management in developing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the construction sector.
- Provide information to the risk review process in accordance to engineering proposals that meet customer’s technical requirements
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Meets Sales targets for the assigned market(s) through our partners and in accordance with the overall policies and objectives.
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Collect documentation regarding the offer/ order and records.
- Contribute to the development of new market opportunities supporting managers/ sales team.
- Manage and collaborate with front end sales team
- Preparation of technical and financial aspects of the offer, marketing materials to on sell service range indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Analyze and evaluate specific technical issues and associated risks.
- Develop various sales reports and sales activity reports
- Provide technical support to Sales Managers.
- Any other duty assigned by your supervisor.

- Years of experience: 5
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or any other related fields
Language proficiency:
- English & Swahili
Computer skills:
- Microsoft Office
