Job Summary:

The Senior Accounting Officer will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial and business records in accordance with accounting principles. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Analyze accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy and completeness.
Review account records to ensure accuracy and coordinate auditing with external auditors.
Oversee monthly reconciliation and financial reporting for all receivables and payables.
Develop systems for maintaining financial records using current technologies.
Create forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
Assist with budget preparation and management.
Stay current on trends, practices, and developments in the accounting and finance profession.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Academic/Professional Qualifications & Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent number of years of experience plus seven years of accounting experience.
A CPA designation is preferred.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and solve problems under pressure.
Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment and learn new concepts.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and French, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional image, pay close attention to details, and manage deadlines.
