Position: Assistant Accountant (1 Post)

Purpose:

• To enhance and improve the MCL’s cash flow through effective credit management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Vets adverts to run on credit and other mode of payment
• Coordinates timely invoicing, production, and despatch of statements of accounts for clients
• Ensures that cash and cheque collected are credited appropriately
• Vets new credit applicants
• Checks commission claims and authorises payments in accordance with the approved schemes

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Academic: Basic University Degree of Commerce in Accounting or Finance; CPA (T)

Experience: 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role in a reputable organization.
