Job description

Enlighten Finance seeks a dynamic and results-orientated loan officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in recruiting eligible clients, analyzing loan applications, and ensuring the provision of quality loans that maximize company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit qualified clients through marketing and sales processes.
• Analyse loan applications to ensure compliance with Enlighten credit policies and credit analysis standards.
• Prepare and conduct due diligence for loan applications in line with Enlighten credit policies.
• Meet performance targets for loan portfolio growth and profitability.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports, including delinquency and risk reports.
• Ensure effective loan recovery with support from the recovery department.
• Promote the Enlighten brand and values through excellent customer service and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Manage portfolio with less than 5% NPL
• Ensure no migration to grade 40.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A diploma or certificate in business management or a related field
• At least two years of experience in microfinance or credit finances.
• Proficiency in lending, marketing, and financial analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail.
• Result-driven and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in computer applications is an added advantage.
• At least two years of experience of working in Pwani region and Kigamboni district is an added advantage
