Unite Food Program (UFP) is a social enterprise owned and chiefly operated by Tanzanian women whose mission is to empower poor small-scale farmers with a secure market for their crops and fair market prices as well as to provide healthy, tasty, and affordable staple food options to all Tanzanian people. The enterprise goal is to empower small scale farmers to receive a secure market for their crops at an above-market price as well as supplying them with high quality storage bags (AgroZ® Bags) to use to store their crops to provide food for their families and to serve as a “bank” for future needs and emergencies; and trainings in agribusiness optimization techniques and approaches.UFP is currently advocating for the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4 of “Zero Hunger” since what UFP does is geared to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

Job Responsibilities:
- Data entry; records all accounting transactions in a proper manner
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements specific to maize flour production.
- Cost Accounting: Monitor and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure profitability and efficiency in the maize flour production process.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights into expected costs and revenues associated with maize flour production.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate reporting and effective management of stock related to maize flour.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT returns and other related filings, specific to the food production industry.
- Audit Coordination: Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions and maize flour production activities.
- Reconciliation ; banking reconciliation and receivables reconciliation
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related field.
