Position: Assistant Surveyor

Introduction:

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is a semi-autonomous agency under the Ministry of Works. Established on July 1, 2000, TANROADS is responsible for road safety, environmental measures, and strategic road sector policies. The Regional Manager, TANROADS-Tanga, on behalf of the Chief Executive, invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for vacancies for the Supervision of Mafuleta – Kileguru Road Project (30KM).

Position Title: Assistant Surveyor (1 Post)

Educational/Professional Qualifications:

• Diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of cumulative experience in survey works.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Tanzanian citizen, 25 years or older.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys to determine the shape, contour, and dimensions of land.
• Coordinate survey findings with engineers and project stakeholders.
• Adjust instruments to maintain accuracy.
• Establish fixed points for mapping and measurements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
