Cost Engineer

Location: Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

Language: Fluent in English.

Contract Duration: 1 year contract (possibility of extension).

Work Scheme: Office based, Monday to Friday.

Airswift is looking for a Cost Engineer to work with one of our customers in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

Main Roles

Monitor costs through use of PROJECT software, forecasts and analyses.
Preparation of necessary documentation for processing of payments.

Responsibilities

Consolidating data from man-hour databases using respective tools to generate periodic reports and prepare the Application of Payments for services.
Provide cost and forecast data to Project Controls Group.
Responsible for coordination of cost updates for services and analyses of the cost/forecast data.
Support management of PROJECT Cost control system.
Execute cost and change control in accordance with PROJECT procedures and be able to estimate small/medium changes.
Import and verify data from finance and procurement systems in cost management tool.
Produce timely cost /status/trend reports for Project Controls Group.
