ACCOUNTANT

On behalf of our client, we need a postgraduate with an Accountant with a CPA Certificate, you will play a critical role in our finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Experience: 3 – 5 Years of Working Experience in Manufacturing Industry

Education: Post Graduate Preferably CPA (T)

Location: Dar Es Salaam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and reconcile financial records, including general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards, including GAAP.
• Manage and coordinate the auditing process, liaising with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
• Perform financial analysis, identify trends, and present findings to support strategic planning.
• Provide support during tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Continuously seek process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting and accounting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post Graduate Preferably CPA (T)
• 3 – 5 Years of Working Experience in Manufacturing Industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
