Project Communications Officer

The communication coordinator will form an integral part of project implementation. The candidate will be responsible for developing the project communication, strategy, initiate the communication related activities including content gathering, packaging and dissemination that informs the public on the project’s implementation, and learning, and communicating the Save the Children’s purpose in general and sharing progress and best practices while maintaining the organization’s core purpose and brand. The Communication Officer will frequently collaborate with the Advocacy, Campaigns, Communication and Media (ACCM) team based in Dar es Salaam, and Save the Children Korea communication team (media, donor development team) to plan and implement the project’s communication strategy and ensure timely submission based on the members rules and regulations.

The Organization

We also campaign and advocate at the highest levels to realise the right of children and to ensure their voices are heard.
