BRAC Tanzania Finance LTD is seeking applications from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individual to fill up the following position;
Job Title: Financial Literacy Trainers
Job Location: Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Singida, Pwani & Dodoma
Nature of the Job: Temporary
Purpose
To support the delivery of the financial and social empowerment curriculum including offering trainings on modules covering social empowerment, financial literacy, digital financial literacy, and business management
Job Responsibilities:
Provide group teaching on financial & digital literacy to program beneficiaries on how to manage personal finances responsibly & obtain financial self-sufficiency.
Support the implementation of digital delivery channels and digital financial solutions for our existing and target customers.
Utilize program’s methods, processes, and tools for accomplishing goals for Financial Literacy
Train beneficiaries to take control of their financial well-being.
Implement strategies to support & foster financial literacy to beneficiaries.
Prepare and plan materials for teaching such attendance register.
Ensure familiarity with all the policies and processes of BRAC Tanzania Finance limited.
Provide group teaching on financial & digital literacy to program beneficiaries on how to manage personal finances responsibly & obtain financial self-sufficiency.
Safeguarding job responsibilities
Read, understand, practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor degree from a recognized institution with a proven knowledge of financial literacy, budgeting / debt reduction, saving, problem solving & intervention strategies.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the development sector, including experience working with marginalized communities to implement community development programs including microfinance, livelihood, agricultural and food security, and/or girl’s and women’s empowerment programs, 1 year being an experience in providing training to community people in urban and rural settings.
- Experience managing confidential information & managing attendance.
- Prior experience and knowledge of using digital delivery channels and digital financial solutions and payments platforms will be an added advantage.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and extracting information from Web
- Ability to hold in confidence information gained in the performance of duties and overheard in the work environment.
- Team building skills.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be tech-savvy, own an Android phone, and ready to be oriented on the digital data collection platform.
- The ability to control and manage large groups of people.
