The Opportunity
- As the Youth, Movements & Campaigns (YMC) Coordinator you will perform a pivotal role in providing administrative, logistical, financial and overall project support to the team responsible for engaging and connecting people and partners –inside and outside Plan International – and the engine for driving youth voice and engagement in all areas.
- You will also work closely with the Global Lead for Campaigns & Mobilisation to support the delivery of Plan International’s global girls’ rights campaign, Girls Get Equal. The campaign champions girls’ voice, power and leadership to achieve gender equality.
The Individual
- We are looking to recruit a proactive individual who has experience in a similar or relevant role, in the charity, NGO or development sectors, or relevant agency or private sector company. With demonstrable experience of project management and implementation support, including budget support and coordination.
- To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong administration skills, including those in Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Sharepoint). The ability to manage a varied workload effectively whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and output. With a strong commitment to meaningful and inclusive youth participation, feminist campaigning and activism, gender equality, anti-racism and girls’ rights.

Location: The location of this role can be flexible where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live.
You may be office, home or hybrid based.
Type of Role: Permanent or maximum fixed term contract as per employing office’s standard terms and conditions.

As an indication if this role was based in the UK the salary would be circa £26,000
