Yanga SC Beat TP Mazembe 3 -1 Leave With 15 Milioni From President Samia Suluhu

Yanga CLUB has managed to leave with three points in front of the TP MAzembe team from DR Congo after beating them 2-1 in the Benjamini Mkapa tournament in Dar es Salaam.

Yanga in the game were able to dominate in the first half where they managed to get two quick goals through their star Kennedy Musonda in the 7th minute and Mudathir Yahaya scored in the 11th minute.

In the second half, Yanga came back with confidence and made TP Mazembe play the ball and managed to get a goal through Alex Ngonga who shot a free kick and hit the net.

The third goal was scored by Tusila Kisinda in the 91st minute of the game after coming off the bench

Due to getting three goals, Yanga has grabbed 15 million from Hon. President Samia Suluhu Hassan promised 5 million shillings for each goal after the end of the game tonight, where the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has given 2 million shillings.

Other ministries that provided funds are Land, Finance and Culture, Arts and Sports, which also each provided 2 million.

The victory makes Yanga third in group D of the competition.
