Will Nabi eventually join Chiefs or will Zwane resume duties?

Apparently Kaizer Chiefs are not happy with Nasreddine Nabi speaking to the media about pending moves and contract talks.

Kaizer Chiefs have already started with their pre-season but fans are waiting for the club to announce Nasreddine Nabi as their new head coach.

The Tunisian mentor is believed to be in negotiations with the Soweto giants but nothing has been confirmed by the club yet.

Nabi reportedly spoke to The Sunday Times, confirming that his agent was in talks with Chiefs and that a deal could be struck soon.

According to the publication, Amakhosi were not happy that Nabi’s team leaked crucial information to the media.

Should the deal be off between Nabi and Chiefs, who will Chiefs go after?

The squad has started their pre-season training already and brining a new coach now is very crucual but if Nabi doesn’t pen a deal, will they look for another coach?

The likelyhood is that they might stick with their current coach Arthur Zwane.

Speaking on on Kaizer Chiefs TV, Zwane said injuries humpered his success at the club.

“We wanted to make sure that the project succeeds. We ended the season on a very, very low note after we started very, very well. It’s just that things were not consistent. The fluctuation of results also unsettled us,” he said.

Zwane saw Khama Billiat, Keagan Dolly, Mduduzi Shabalala and Sifiso Hlanti get injured during the critical phase of the season.

“To sum it up all, I would say injuries hindered our progress this past season and unfortunately it’s something we couldn’t control, we couldn’t control injuries.
