You will recall that the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) advertised 1,596 job vacancies in early February 2025, where it received a total of 135,027 applications, of which 113,023 were called for a written selection interview after meeting the criteria and the interview was held on 29 and 30 March, 2025.

Successful candidates in the written interview were called for an interview held on 12 to 14 May, 2025, where 6,325 candidates were interviewed. In a special way, the Tanzania Revenue Authority thanks His Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania for APPROVING the Authority’s request to increase the 300 job positions that were allocated in the 2025/26 Fiscal Year Budget to be filled in this completed process, thus bringing the number of those to be hired to 1,896 instead of the previous 1,596.

The Authority wishes to inform all job applicants who participated in the interview that the results of the interview will be released tomorrow, 28/05/2025, through their email addresses used to apply for the job.

The 1,896 successful candidates who have been called for duty are required to report to their assigned venues on 02 June, 2025 at 1:00 am without fail with the necessary documents as specified in their emails.

The Authority thanks all the applicants who expressed interest in working with the Tanzania Revenue Authority, and wishes them all the best in building the Nation. Also, the 4,429 applicants who participated in the interview and were not called for duty, their information will be stored in the Authority’s database for future use.
