We would like to advertise for the following position: Telecoms Installation Quality Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Country Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Devise and review specifications for products or processes
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Oversee all product and services development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
- Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments in line with company procedures prior to work being undertaken.
- Assist in the testing of antenna systems for the purposes of fault finding and subsequent rectification.
- Conduct visual inspections of antenna Mounts, aerials, co-axial cables, fixings, feeder cables and anchor points.
- Ensure the proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment
- Work safely on towers incorporating 100% tie off – fall protection practices
- Ensure that all company equipment is well maintained and in safe operating condition
- Ensure work is completed as per client and employer standards, prepare reports as required
- Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
- Support project Manager and project coordinator in necessary documentation towards Work acceptance.
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
- Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma/Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical and Electronic, ICT or related field
- 3-year Proven experience as quality manager
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
- Knowledge or Work at Height, rope rigging, first aid and firm marshal
- Driving license is an added advantage

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Conscientious and responsible
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills.
