Role Responsibilities
As an In Tax and Treasury Manager, you will be able to:
Tax Management
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on implications and required adjustments.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Coordinate responses to audit queries and ensure effective closure of outstanding recommendations.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities to maintain compliance and resolve issues.
- Maintain robust documentation and tax records for internal and external review.
Treasury Operations
- Oversee daily cash management, ensuring liquidity and optimal fund utilization across the organization.
- Manage banking relationships to secure competitive financial services and support strategic funding needs.
- Forecast and monitor cash flows, identifying trends and recommending financial strategies.
- Develop and implement investment strategies for surplus funds in alignment with corporate policies.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and funding requests in accordance with internal procedures.

Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:
- Minimum of Undergraduate degree in Finance, Tax Management, or any relevant discipline
- Chartered Accountant and Tax qualifications
- Tax consulting experience from one of the Big 4 audit firms
- Tax accounting and IFRS knowledge and experience
- Tax management experience
- Broad industry exposure
- 4+ years of experience in a finance/tax environment

- Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of local and international tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Treasury Management: Strong grasp of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, investment strategies, and banking operations
- Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial statements, develop budget inputs, and assess tax/treasury implications on business performance
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with audit standards, regulatory frameworks, and risk mitigation practices
- ERP & Financial Systems: Proficiency in systems such as SAP or similar platforms for treasury and tax management
- Analytical Thinking: Sharp problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making
Strategic & Collaborative Skills
- Cross-functional Communication: Ability to work effectively with departments such as Finance, Audit, HR, and Legal
- Leadership & Influence: Experience leading projects or teams and influencing stakeholders toward best practices
- Policy & Process Development: Skill in designing and improving internal procedures for compliance, efficiency, and resilience
- Audit & Advisory Collaboration: Experience working with auditors, consultants, and external agencies to address recommendations and queries
