Are you looking to take on your next big challenge? An EPCM Mining house is looking to employ a Tanzanian Site Manager who will be based on site in Tanzania. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Mineral Processing construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate will be based at a mining site and manage engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. If this sounds like you apply now!
Requirements:
- Need to be a Tanzania Citizen non negotiable
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- 10 – 15 years of work-related experience in managing the construction and commissioning of a mine
- 5 – 10 years’ experience with mineral processing
- Solid experience working in an EPCM project environment
- Sound knowledge of applicable local, state / province, and federal / national statutes and guidelines
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all staff assigned to the project(s) through direct reports typically consisting of managers and supervisors heading up the various functions (i.e., Safety Manager, Quality Manager, Construction Manager / Superintendents, Site Services Manager, Engineering Manager, Contracts Manager, and others as appropriate for the project(s))
- Responsible as the lead person to coordinate all activities and communication within the site / project areas as well as between those areas and other offices and locations
- Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive project execution;
