Job description
- Developing a strategic plan for the company, including long-term goals and short-term objectives that align with the company’s mission statement
- Monitoring and measuring the company’s performance against set targets
- Participating in meetings with external stakeholders such as investors, partners, and suppliers
- Reviewing and analyzing data to identify areas of opportunity for improvement
- Developing water tight pitch decks and Proposals
- Application for investor funding and acceleration programs
- Conducting research to identify new opportunities for growth in existing markets or development of new markets
- Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to determine whether they are achieving their goals with
- Marketing and Sales Manager.
- Coordinating with members of the executive team to ensure that all departments are working towards the same goals
- Conducting evaluations of new technologies to determine their viability within the company’s operations
- Preparing reports detailing progress towards goals, identifying obstacles to success, and recommending solutions to the Executive team
Skills

Decision-making: You will make decisions about the future of the organization and its goals. Will Use your knowledge of the company’s strengths and weaknesses to make informed decisions about what direction the company should take.
Analysis: Strategic planning requires the ability to analyze data and information to make informed decisions. As a strategic planning officer, you may be responsible for analyzing data to create a business plan, forecast future revenue and expenses, identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to meet organizational goals.
Problem-solving: Problem-solving skills allow you to identify challenges and develop solutions to overcome them. As a strategic planning Officer, you may be responsible for planning and implementing solutions to overcome challenges in JEMATECH strategic plan
Strategic Planning Officer Work Environment
- Strategic planning Officer typically is required to work in an office environment, although you may travel to meet with clients or attend conferences.
- You will work full time and may occasionally work overtime or flexi hours to meet deadlines.
- Typically work with other managers and professionals, such as marketing manager, Accountants, auditors and research and development managers.
- You will also interact with upper-level managers, to present your findings and recommendations.
You will be based in Dar -es Salaam.
