Simiyu Cooperative Union Limited (SIMCU 2018 Ltd), with registration number 5493, was incorporated in Tanzania in 1994 under the Co-operative Societies Act No.15 of 1991. SIMCU Ltd is currently operating under the Cooperative Societies Act No.06 of 2013. The union is domiciled and operates in Bariadi District in Simiyu Region.

Vision: To become a strong Co-operative Union that provides good supervision, management skills to its Primary Co-operative Societies and the Community, as well as to improve the economic standard of farmers and community development in Simiyu Region.Financial software

SIMCU (2018) Ltd is seeking candidates to fill the following positions:

Storekeeper (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, record, and issue goods and materials.
• Maintain proper stock records and inventory.
• Ensure safe custody and proper arrangement of goods in the store.
• Conduct regular stock-taking and reporting.
• Verify quality, quantity, and specifications of delivered items before acceptance and storage.
• Safeguard store property against theft, loss, damage, and deterioration.
• Issue goods and materials to departments and member societies upon authorization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Procurement and Supplies, Logistics, Material Management, or related field.
• At least two (2) years relevant experience.
• Computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Salary: As per SIMCU (2018) Ltd Salary Scales.
