Job Purpose
The primary objective of this role is to ensure effective coordination of corporate operations to achieve organizational goals and intended outcomes. The position focuses on selecting, monitoring, and evaluating key departmental tasks to enhance performance across the business.
The role involves the continuous strategic assessment, measurement, and monitoring of operational efficiency to eliminate complexities, reduce inefficiencies and long cycle times, and strengthen overall corporate capabilities. This ensures that operational outcomes align with the organization’s strategy and desired competitive advantage, positioning the bank as an effective and innovative financial institution.
Principal Responsibilities
- Conduct organization-wide assessments to identify lost opportunities and recommend improvements that enhance corporate performance and overall productivity.
- Perform in-depth analysis of product and service performance in relation to market dynamics and customer needs.
- Ensure all corporate systems operate effectively, meet quality standards, and that business processes are optimized.
- Conduct continuous monitoring and evaluation of process performance to ensure quality management standards are met and operational gaps are proactively addressed.
- Assess and align corporate operations with organizational strategy to enhance delivery of business objectives and ensure compliance.
- Oversee operations management to strengthen organizational capabilities, drive growth, and enhance stability and sustainability.
- Improve corporate operations to enhance customer experience, support growth, and contribute to organizational stability.
- Integrate external and internal stakeholder needs into corporate operations. Collaborate with HR to ensure hiring plans support business needs and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Process Management, Value Chain Management,
- Banking, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Skills in project management and customer operations management.
- Professional certifications such as CPT(T), ACCA, value chain management, or project management are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business operations, value chain management, operating model design, systems analysis (preferably in the banking industry), research review, program design, and development in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of contributing to institutional growth and positive impact.
- Prior experience in corporate operations management or value chain management is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of value management and banking operations.
- Experience in banking customer operations and service delivery.
- Proficiency with databases and project management software.
- Experience using forecasting models.
