SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

HR World Limited

HR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a multi-skilled Engineer to work on both mechanical & some electrical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Carry out planned maintenance programs and schedules recommending improvements where appropriate, to ensure efficiencies are maximized
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to ensure downtime is minimized
  • Analyse line efficiency, wastage, and downtime data to identify areas for performance improvement
  • Carry out all duties by safe working practices and factory hygiene standards
  • Produce detailed written reports when and where required i.e. downtime sheets and line log books
  • Identifying faulty equipment by consulting manufacturer’s manuals & reading detailed mechanical exploded drawings to resource and order replacement parts
  • Operate machinery if required to ensure efficient manufacturing team working
  • Proactive approach to production line equipment with the implementation of Continuous Improvements to driving better performance

REQUIREMENTS;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in FMCG/ Food industry
  • Experience in FMCG/Food industry within a development in a maintenance/production environment
  • Knowledge of product development
  • Be Proactive and Self-motivated
  • Strong logical thinking, good interpersonal skills, and analytical skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
