Established in 1956, the school initially served the children of expatriates and missionaries working in the area, particularly those in the medical and mining sectors, as well as families from the local Tanzanian community. Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for students to ensure smooth teaching and learning.
- Set the ultimate objectives that must be achieved and challenge each and every student to help them grow in the process of achieving their learning goals.
- Ensure that students achieve the set objectives, excellent results, and continuously improve.
- Be aware of the capabilities and knowledge the students possess and plan their teaching materials accordingly.
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and ability to implement various efficient teaching methods.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s in education from a reputable accredited university and can teach up two subjects.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in teaching a similar subject in KS 3, IGCSE, AS and Advanced curriculum in an international school.
- A strong commitment to upholding and sharing outstanding and innovative teaching practice
- Dedication to uphold the values of the school in a manner that is respectful to all faiths.
- An outstanding role model to students, faculty and staff.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to solving problems
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and all staff members
- Understanding of 21st-century education practices, strategies for raising student’s achievement, and effective frameworks for school improvement planning and selfevaluation.
