INTRODUCTION
JUMLA AFRICA has 16 warehouses across 15 regions of Tanzania supplying to over 770 stockists. It’s the most trusted distributor, leading in the supply of agricultural and veterinary products.
We are currently operating in: Arusha, Singida, Tabora, Manyara, Morogoro, Iringa, Simiyu, Tanga, Dodoma, Mara, Ruvuma, Kigoma, Songwe, Njombe and Rukwa.
POSITION: SALES MANAGER (NORTHERN ZONE) – 1 POST
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and establish sales point
- Research and understand the needs of the customer and plan sales activities to increase sales and hybrid adoption.
- Maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of products in the various segments and analyze market to understand opportunities that are available to increase seed usage.
- Work with customer complaints to ensure they are resolved.
- Coach stockiest/ retailers on product management to ensure they successfully maintain quality.
- Provide after-sale customer service that increases customer loyalty and repeat orders.
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve a plan for sales area that increases customer engagement, market share, and profitability.
- Maintains and develop relationship with the customer’s.
- Provide the company with the necessary market intelligence required for commercial success of our business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors of Agribusiness/ Agronomy and related fields or equivalent education/experience.
- 2-4 years of sales management experience.
- Experience working on Agro inputs sales.
- Proven track record in creating new markets for Agro Inputs.
- Creative problem solving.
- Fluency in Swahili and English.
- Willing to relocate or travel across the Regions for sales activities.
- Managing a remote team
