JOB TITLE: Sales Engineer
REPORTING TO: General Manager
SALES ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and demonstrating how our products meet their needs. You will act as a liaison between the sales team and the product development team, ensuring that technical solutions align with customer expectations and drive sales success.
SALES ENGINEER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical support. Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering customer inquiries. • Solution design. Work with customers to understand their requirements and design customized solutions that meet their needs.
- Collaboration. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product improvements.
- Documentation. Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials to support the sales process.
- Customer engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Expanding customer base
- Regularly review sales process improvements
SALES ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire for continuous improvement and career advancement
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
NICE TO HAVE
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mining , Metallurgical, Geology, Electrical, Chemical & Process engineering.
